The Central Building, built in 1941 in the Art District in the center of downtown Anchorage, Alaska. Nested between the Federal and State Courthouses on the corner of 3rd and G Street, close to shopping, restaurants, museums, town square and the famous coastal trail.

Built on the tail end of the Art Deco era, during World War II, by Oscar Anderson and Edward Coffey.  Flat roof, sleek, linear appearance. Its original wood detaining and brass fittings are still throughout the building today. Neither the use of the building nor the overall physical appearance has changed over the years.

Home to the trendy Sevigny Studio Art Gallery, Crush Cellar Wine Store, Lumen Design Architects, Urban Greens, and Cajun Corner Restaurants. 

Perfect Office Size

The Central Building has two standard size offices that can be combined to create the perfect space for your business.  Our small offices on the West Side of the building are 186 sf each.  The offices on the East side of the building are 246 sf each. Rent one or several to make the square footage you need to make the perfect office space.
